Photography Walk – Waikumete Cemetery
We invite you to join a small group of supportive women to practise your photography on this photography walk.
Suitable for all levels of photography expertise (beginners are always welcome), come join fellow female photographers on a two-hour photography walk.
These walks are designed to connect with your fellow photography buddies and are a chance for you to come together to practise and learn some photography skills as there is some hands on help from Lesley.
The end of the two hours, is not the end of your engagement as we invite you to become a member of the Women in Photography alumni Facebook community, a place where you can share your photos, ask questions and meet online.
Come join this walk and meet up with like-minded women, boost your photography and grow as we explore photography together.
Suitable for all levels of photography expertise, come join me and fellow female photographers of on a two-hour photography walk.
On this walk, we explore the historic area of Waikemete Cemetery, photographing the graves overgrown by long grass, some falling down and in a state of disrepair. Located in Glen Eden in West Auckland, this is the largest cemetery in New Zealand and, at 108 hectares, one of the biggest parks in the city. It’s also one of the oldest, established in 1886.
