Field Trip Wah Lee Auckland’s Cultural Icon

Come join us as we return to Wah Lee’s, Auckland’s oldest Chinese emporium which started in 1904 and New Zealand’s oldest Asian Grocery Store and Emporiums

This is the ultimate field trip where, depending on the day, we get to explore and photograph not only the items in the front of the store, but we also go behind the scenes and capture images of items and boxes full of imported Chinese paraphernalia.

No words can describe this photographic experience and getting behind the scenes to their warehouse is only available through this booking.

WHERE TO MEET: Meet at Wah Lee’s 220 Hobson Street a little before 1.00pm.

NOTE:  Under COVID-19 orange, masks are required to be worn inside.
