What we do
Women in Photography provides collaborative workshops, tours, retreats, field trips, and networking events aimed at all photography levels. Beginners and intermediate level photographers who are wishing to get more out of their camera, improve their photography skills and learn new techniques are warmly welcomed.
Not only are our tours, retreats and workshops relaxed and appealing to photographers of all ages, enthusiasm and experience, we also cover technical areas such as lens selection, exposure control, focus point and depth of field, as well as working on image visualisation and ideas for creative composition to help you make your images stand out, while some of our retreats and workshops cover preparing your image for printing.
Our photography mentors are chosen specifically for their photography passion and have a desire to share their photography knowledge with other women: meet our team.
All our weekend tours and retreats are organised through House of Travel, therefore you can be assured that you are booking through an IATA accredited travel agency. On our longer tours within Australia and further afield are not only organised through House of Travel but are fully escorted by a House of Travel Travelling Concierge who is on hand throughout to make your photography tour even more unforgettable.
